Position Vacant
St Nick’s Associate Minister
The Parish
St Nick’s is a rapidly growing parish with a healthy mix of all ages in the booming regional centre of Goulburn. We are known as the ‘evangelical parish’ in town and faithful expositional Bible teaching is central to our identity. We are currently seeing church attendance at around 160-200 per week. At current growth rates we will run out of capacity in our main service within 2-3 years. We are seeking to continue to grow by planting a network of congregations in Goulburn within the one parish.

Key Responsibilities

2. To reform and lead the youth and young adult ministry across the whole parish. St Nick’s is seeking to build a single parish wide youth and young adult ministry that is biblical and effective in evangelising and discipling youth and young adults.
3. To share in the preaching ministry during the residency period and, after planting, lead the preaching at the new “St Nick’s North” congregation.
4. To share in conducting occasional services, leading services, lead a connect group and teach SRE in one or more local schools.
5. To share with the other ordained ministers and lay team in pastoral care.

7. To work closely with the Rector and the Parish Council in strategic planning for the continued growth of the parish.
8. To engage in wider diocesan life as required of an ordained clergyperson.
9. Any other ministries duties as determined by the Rector.
